Music not looping properly

I'm rather new to Clickteam Fusion 2.5, and I'm trying to get the menu misic to loop seamlessly. However, upon using the DirectShow object and looping it, there's a big gap between the first playthrough and the next. I also tried using the Loop Sample function, but it refused to play the file. Help would be appreciated, and thanks for reading/replying

What format is your music? WAV, OGG, AIFF and MOD files are supported sample formats. I'm not sure on MP3. It's not necessary to need DirectShow for playing music.

If it's neither of these formats, download a tool like Audacity to convert them to a format that's supported. I would recommend OGG, two reasons:

• WAV had a significant overhead with large music files, and can cause a silence between each loop.
• OGG is superior to other lossy formats like MP3, for greater quality for a lesser file size.

If you haven't noticed already, Fusion is outdated with the term "music". It refers to MIDI sequenced files, so it's best to avoid that.
