Frame effects - what are they?

In MMF2 version 2.0 there's an option called Effect under Frame in the Storyboard Controls.
I can't find anything related to this in the help documents, neither can I find anything on these forums.

There's also a Set Effect option with a bunch of editable frame effects, such as Flip Horizontally or Vertically. I assumed this would flip the entire frame - it doesn't do anything, in fact although it allows their use in events the options themselves are greyed out.

What are these, why is there no documentation about them and why do they not work?

The effects are shaders that can render different "effects"There is a sub forum for shaders that have been developed by different users of MMF2 and CTF2.5. These are downloaded and placed into the Effects folder where MMF2 and CTF2.5 have been installed to.

In addition, Shades can be applied to individual objects, layers, frames, or any combination of the 3.

If you want to apply the "Flip Horizontal" layer to the frame, you will need to click on the frame, go to its properties, scroll down a bit, and then select the desired frame.

Is that in CTF only? because I can't see those options in the frame properties.

My idea was to have the player flick a lever and flip the room upside down...kind of like that anyway.

Its for Clickteam Fusion and MMF2. Make sure you change the display mode from "Standard" to "Direct3D 9". These effects only show up when the display mode is Direct 3D
