    Replicating Box2d Car Example?

Hello. I am new to this forum, so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post questions regarding making a game in mmf2.

For a while now, I've been trying to create a top-down style racing game with decent physics. I'm trying to replicate the car in the box2d testbed. My issue is that when I try to replicate the scenario in another window (or new application), it tends to go haywire.

The part that I'm mainly stuck at is trying to attach the wheel to the car's body. I've gotten the wheel to turn on it's own (without a body), but can't make it go forward, and when I create a joint between the wheel and the car, the wheel stops working properly and glitches out. Has anyone ever made a top-down racing game utilizing Box2d, and if so, what am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure if I explained this situation well enough. If anyone needs screenshots of my project in order to help, I'll try to provide them. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Try this YouTube video. You might have to pause the video a couple of times to figure out how he did it.
