Yea, I think as you move forward with Fusion, you should probably migrate away from the Event Editor entirely. It is only useful for limiting the view of the events to a specific object (by clicking the object's icon on the top). Otherwise, it is a lot of wasted clicks to see the order or even what is on that event line. And like Schrodinger mentioned, it has a few bugs, but it is worth the ability to actually see the order of your code up front.

As for your example, I just realized you might have solved your problem. Did you still need an example?

No example needed, you guys pointed me in the right direction and I have a working example. Thanks!

Hell noble forumites, this seems like the most appropriate place to ask, even if it is a year old.

I'm trying to switch the active object in a game from one item to another, but they are utterly different. While the flag setting works when the objects all behave the same, I'd rather not have to add a "and flag = 1" to every single event that either of them are involved in. Unless I missed something in the explanations above, I don't see how I can apply your previous suggestions to this problem. Any thoughts? I can post the mfa if needed.

You should start a new thread instead of resurrecting a seemingly unrelated thread. And including an mfa will get you a lot more help.

I figured it was better to necro a thread with an appropriate title and on the same subject, than to start a whole new one (because good luck finding anything with the forum search).

Still unsure of what you are trying to do. And as I said, an mfa with your work so far would be helpful.
