    Kid Icarus Style Game

    Inspired by a question on how to make a platform game where the graphics wrap around the screen like Kid Icarus.. I started playing around in Fusion and then got carried away again, made this this morning - it shows the basics of the PMO platform movement along with PMO moving platforms and other fun stuff.

    Was it that your player sprite kind of lagged a frame behind the moving platform? that issue bothered me for a long time before I figured it out >_< happy it helps.

    Kind of, it was that and when a platform ascended. The sprite would fall right through.

    DaveC, thank you for your example! It helped me too to improve platform movement in my PMO engine.
    (I honestly don't understand why my replies get sometime filtered by the forum antispam, it's quite annoying...)

    Very nice DaveC. Kid Icarus was one of my favorite games. I spent hours playing it and beat it I think. Long time ago, but again, very nice example.
