    Title of the game.... where?

ok, here is a dumb question...

The name of the game that's under the icon on your device, is that only based of the FILENAME ?

I thought it was the name under the properties in 1 of the tabs..
but it's still showing the filename seems like it.. unless the app doesn't update the name after an update through the store?

Well.... That's what I thought too

in my current game I have "Piccross Adventure House" under the name, and the filename is "Piccross 3" now it's live in the store and the name under the icon is "Piccross 3"

So I am thinking this is a bug then?? cause it seems like it's looking at the filename now..

and for the IOS store, you have to put the right name there, otherwise you get a duplicate name, and apple won't accept that.
So that's not it it's really something within the project

    just did a test

my title of the name in the tab = "Perry"
    The MFA filename = "hello"
The ZIP filename exported with IOS = "PKSoft"

and in Xcode it ends up the name of the title a "PKSoft"

So it's looking at the filename..

Pretty sure it is looking at the bundle name (in the ios tab of your project's properties). The one formatted like: com.companyname.projectname where "projectname" is the text string that shows up under your icon. At least it is this way when you are building apps locally.

I think it goes by the Xcode filename (the same as the zip filename).

it is... Ticket was updated, and requested if it could be changed.
you can always manually change it in the plist file in Xcode..
But if it goes by the name property then it's a lot easier
