Please Help - Inserting Active Object Image

Hello I am a beginner when it comes to using this software package so if my question sounds fairly stupid that will be why.

I have inserted an active object and tried loading either a .png or a .jpg image. At this point the image looks as i was expecting. However when i shrink the object on the frame editor screen the image appears extremely blurry/pixelated.

I was just wondering if there is something I can to to avoid this occurring or is the only way round this problem to shrink the image to size before loading it into the active object?

Thanks for your answers in advance.

In MMF2 options, try turning off 'Resample images when resizing in editor'. If this doesn't work, your best bet is to either resize the images outside of MMF2 and import, or scale the object down using events (Active > Scale > 0.5) or whatever size...

I am having the same problem but rescaling or cropping outside of the clickteam app doesn't fix the problem. When I uploaded the images to my computer, they look fine in every app except clickteam. I need to fix this problem asap because the images I am referring to are comics designed for an app that is due to release this Friday. Could someone please help me figure out why the words in the word bubbles of my images keep showing up fuzzy and dispersed? The original size is 1050x600. Without even changing the size the graphics somehow come out choppy.002.jpg
