Drag Object In Android App

I'm trying to drag one object (and not the other objects on the screen) in an Android app. I've gotten the object to drag nicely. But I can't figure out how to get the object to stay there when I "click" to move the object a second time. The object keeps snapping back to its original position. I've tried various ways to save its position and have it stay there after the first click is complete, but have not been successful. I've attached a sample mfa file. Any help appreciated.

I'm getting closer. I am able to drag the object and when I click again, it stays in place. But I cannot place stops on its movement so it does not go too far either up or down. See attached file.
