    Need help with animations please

I'm currently reading 'Getting Started with Clickteam Fusion' book. I understand the basics but I'm having a bit of trouble:

I have a player character it's walking and stopped animations are fine. I now have created a PunchOne animation consisting of 4 frames. My goal is to have the player stop when i hit the punch button (play all the 4 frames when I press 'punch button'). It seems that if I simply tap the button the animation does not have a chance to play it's full 4 frames. If I'm walking and hit the punch button (tap the button) it's movement stops very briefly, but the punch animation only plays full frames if I hold it down (and it stays on the last frame of the punch animation *when held down *also movement stopped).

How can I create a condition which says do this after certain number of frames have played (or a full animation sequence). Basically I'm trying to not have the player walk while trying to punch.....

I've attached a pic hoping one of you Fusion masters can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Your order is correct, which is why the animation changes to punching, but that's only for 1 frame. If you're moving in a direction, and release the button, it'll switch back to walking.

Try adding "(Negate) repeat while fire 3 is pressed" to your move left and right conditions. Then if your punching animation is playing, these won't trigger.

Thanks. I'm not sure if I went about it the most efficient way but here's how I got it to work:
