[REQUEST] Better Strings Object

Hello!.
I don't know if I'm the only one that thinks string display/managment in android is really hard..
I mean, we have the string object, but this object doesn't have alterable values and some selection/control conditions the active object has, I find very hard to manage
strings as I manage other active objects in complex apps.
The way I'm handling text selection is storing a fixed value and pairing it with other values, but I feel its garbage code.
Im asking, is there another string extension in android? , released or in development im not aware of?

The 'Active System Box' is compatible across the board ( save Mac ).
You can just set its Fill and BG colors to 'None', and it should act like a String. Only drawback is it doesnt have Paragraphs, and i dont know if there are any display issues durring runtime but youl just have to try it and see

The Active System Box has AltValues and AltStrings, so you should be able to simulate paragraphs using AltStrings i guess.
Just thought of this as i read your thread and remembered someone mentioning/ recommending the ASB over the String Object.
