    Having an issue with simple game, i'm not very experienced. Please help if you can.

    I'm trying to create a small game in which you bounce off springs into the air and collide with objects that give you different score depending on which one's you hit.
    I tried setting a counter to a random number at the start of frame and depending on that number it would set a specific active object relative to the position of all of the "floating objects".
    Once you collide with the floating object it would destroy it and somehow wait 5 seconds and "undestroy" the object and assign it a new number.
    So basically you would be hitting the object gaining score depending on what it was then after 5 seconds it would reappear with a random object that again generates score.
    I can't figure out a way to do this, i struggle to even explain it! has anyone else done anything similar and have an example or solution?

    You can do this with alterable values or counters. There are a lot of ways to accomplish this. If you could upload a mfa,.I can see where the issue is and upload the fix.

    here's the .mfa, i had removed most of the events out of trial and error of different things nothing had worked for me

    So, please explain in more detail of what you're trying to accomplish.


    EDIT: I think I'm understanding you. I'll post an example a little later today.
