    game play progression problems

    Hey everybody, so I was working on a game today and I ran into this problem, kind of dumb question though. see, I wanted to have it so that every time you get a certain amount of points in game it progresses one level and it would spawn more enemies and such. I have it set up so that the game chooses a random off screen active objects that are lined up at various heights. it then creates an enemy that scrolls across the screen and such. is it possible to get it to select multiple active objects to create enemies at or have multiple enemy objects be created from the randomly selected object in accordance to the level number. if you want an example of what I'm talking about I wanted something like how the barrels and such get faster the more you progress in donkey kong or how the ghosts get faster the farther you get in pac-man. please respond if you can help, and thanks for reading this.

    Yes, it is possible to have increasingly difficult "waves" of enemies. The best way to do it depends on the game itself.
