Question How do I nudge an object when colliding with it without physics

    Hello,
My name's Jay and I'm new to the forums and have been using Fusion for 3 months. I loved it so much I just bought the dev version. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself first!

Im working on a top down game and wanted some sprites/objects to just sit on screen unless the player collides with it. When the collision happens, I want the sprite to move out of the way just a bit, to look like the player kind of lightly kicked it out of the way. How would I go about doing something like that? Thanks for your time.

    - Jay

I suggest you play around with this example by Klikit http://community.clickteam.com/threads/95994-Pushing-Sliding-a-box/page4

To get a kick back effect you could try adapt the lines that move the box and apply a push back by about 4 less than it's x or y position depending on which direction your facing when pushing a box.

There is a whole forum for Fusion 2.5
    http://community.clickteam.com/forums/331-Fusion-2-5

This forum here is for Multimedia Fusion 2.0 which is mainly just used in education right now.
It takes a long time for the curriculum to get updated and for schools to adopt new versions.

Most indie users (and all steam users) are using Fusion 2.5.

You will get much faster replies in the other forum
