Question How to create a music-reacting object?

    Hello, Clickteam Community!
I would like to know if you can create an object which scales up and down rhythmically with the music?
For example: there are objects like these in Geometry Dash.
I am making a game, in which you shoot the boxes, and you have the BG music playing.
That's why I'd like to know if you can create that kinda stuff.
It's not really necessary, but will be really nice if you could do that!

How to create a music-reacting object?

I rarely work with sounds, so I don't know if this is possible. But I would think you would have separate sound sample channels and you would have the volume for the channel at 0 by default. When the bullets hit the boxes, you would gradually increase the volume with each hit. After a certain time limit it would gradually decrease the volume of that sample channel. That's what I would do in my mind.

I'm not sure if you can separately change the volume of different samples, hopefully you can.

I think someone released a widget/example for making use of rhythms recently. Perhaps that could be of use?

I couldn't find it again now though, but I'm sure a thorough search would do it.

Bipolar_Games released some cool widgets this year. His BPM Timer Widget is very useful for music games. I'm pretty sure that's the widget Chrille couldn't find again. It's basically an adjustable timer to control the BPM at any time very accurate.
