where are these image from, android devices?

I tested here in 1200 (nexus 7), 720(Samsung note 3 neo) and 480(Samsung core duos, LG Sporty 50) and in all was ok, the concept here is different you set the left and you move the right border which is more efficient, according the screen size

if you want to center you need to get screenWidth/2 as center but this will require a lot of moves

I just want to make sure that players on smaller screen devices don't see the character going off screen and that it looks good on all devices. I don't know if there is a way to make my character run to the edges of the screen based on the users device, that would be even better.

The images in my last post was just demonstrating what I am trying to do, this may not be the best way to do it though, I'm still learning

All I want really is to make sure that my objects and my UI elements look correct on all screens and not have any issues with smaller screen devices.

I've been reading up on what the best methods are for starting a project and having the correct application window size and frame size, there doesn't seem to be a solid answer on this though. From what I can gather most people are saying just pick a 16:9 resolution for you application window size and your frame size can vary but this doesn't seem to work for me.

My application window size is a 16:9 resolution and my frame size is bigger than that. I'm confused as to what sizes I should have my project to work on multiple devices.

the smallest size now is 480 and is not going out here, in all screen sizes, the green box is the limiter when hit the borders, invert the speed.

Hey Fernando I just tested this on my device and it works perfectly (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge). I just got round to looking at your changes properly and noticed you added some extra code to my boundary boxes (2 orange actives). Just wondering what does this mean "ScreenWidth( "Android object" ) + OWidth( "Borders 2" ) / 2". I've never seen OWidth before.

Also wondering what 'Group.Good' is, there is a picture of an apple in the events, I've never seen that before.

I just learnt about Qualifiers and what they do and wow I can see the use in them. Thanks again Fernando for your help, I have choosen 720 x 1280 as my Frame size and 640 x 960 as my Window size, I've made some edit's to my background and moved my object's around and with that code you shared with me for taking the screen size and object width for the borders it works great on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

I can finally continue on with my game now. I'll be taking a closer look at the code you shared just so I understand the thought process behind it, thanks again!

By the way in my search for supporting multiple screen sizes I came across this really handy link that I've saved to my favourites, I will put it here so others can use it if needed: http://www.andersriggelsen.dk/clickteam/resolutions/

Anders is one of the project leader for Fusion3, and he maintained the iOS runtime for many years, now he is focus in fusion 3, so if you like that page you know what to expect for the next generation of Clickteam products.
