How to make a user fling action?

I want to make something that will translate to an app where there is a ball the user can fling in a chosen direction like shooting a pool ball, where the direction and speed are dependent on the player's motion. I'm not sure how that translates in Clickteam Fusion 2.5 where the controls options seem to be just for mouse or keyboard. I tried to search the forums and couldn't find anything on this. How is it done?

Thank you! I was able to verify that multiple touch is enabled (and found a few other nifty extensions in the process). Being a newbie, I have no idea how to actually use or activate an extension. I still only see the same options for keyboard and mouse controls as were there before. Please help?

you need to add the object in the Create New Object dialog.

btw, the mouse control also works for touch, but maybe the multiple touch object has more features.

I feel really dumb. I've managed to get it to move the object when I click, but I really don't know what I'm doing or what events I need to make in order to create a fling response. Basically my goal is to make a game where there's a target ball which is user controlled and can be rolled around the game screen with a flicking motion from the user, with the user's direction and speed of 'fling' motion setting the direction and speed of the target ball. Is that even feasible using this program?
