Yes 287.2, it's really very strange because only have this problem with the new AdMob object that have the google play services lib separately.
If I had a problem with android intallation sdk or java sdk would have the same problem with other objects (like google maps...) and also with other versions from 285.7 and lower.
The problem is that I need a solution because I have 23 apps that must be updated with the new google play SDK 6.4.2 maximum on October 17!

Since 2 versions are getting mixed up. I would suggest uninstall both, clean registry settings and folders
and ONLY install Java 8 32 bit and JDK/SDK 32 bits and update. and 287.2

otherwise I'll be happy to compile an mfa for you, to see if it errors on my side... if that's the case just pm me a file / example the way you created it..
I know when I do, then it's fine. so it's needs to come in your format (i know it sounds stupid, but it could be a rare corruption, which is unlikely)

    Just tossing out some suggestions..

    sorry

can you show me a pic of the admob.mfx extensions/unicode in fusion directory extensions, to see if they are correctly updated.

I don't see problem in the android runtime, now want to see the extensions/Unicode directory focus in admob to see what can I properly suggest
    Regards,

    Thanks Perry for your help.
Well, in fisrt place Java 8 is a manual installation, because in XP not work the installation package.
I have JAVA 8 manually in a dir, and change the JAVA_HOME and java JDK pathname in fusion prefs.
But i'm using JAVA 7 with API 22 since as Fernando told me it should work.
As didn't work, I have uninstalled both JAVA versions, Android SDK, and fusion and I made a clean new installation. In fisrt place only with JAVA 7 but the problem persist, later i have instlled JAVA 8 (manually).
I think that the problem is with the new Google Play Services SDK 6.4.2 (in XP) since I updated it in the Android SDK. I have XP PRO SP 3.

Obviously I can't send you the source code of my apps because there are third parties involved, but i send you a simple app that can't compile. I think that you can compile if not have XP (would be very rare you could compile with exactly the same configuration than me)

Thanks. I will check as soon as I get home... and Maybe I see what's going on already.. Java 8 doesn't support XP ?? Wonder if that's the issue, since there are files written elsewhere too, then just that 1 folder.
I bet that's the issue.. so we're back at the issues 7 VS 8

Do you have JDK 8 Update 25 ? Cause that's where they fixed the XP issue

Q: Can I install JDK 8 on Windows XP? Will it work?
A: Yes, as long as you install JDK 8 Update 25 or later. Earlier updates of JDK 8 had an installer issue that prevented installation in Windows XP.

Ok nailed, how come your admob extension is not the correct one, mm seems that you have an old version of admob that's why you can not build using latest version

don't know, why this extension comes with the patch all time you update, can you try for testing purpose delete this extension and use patch 287.2 and see if is writing correctly this extension must have 113Kb

if not I will send it by email.

take a look, this is the admob files that have in the Clickteam Fusion Developer 2.5 tree folder:

    admob_files.jpg

    I have't yet deleted anything
The files Admob.mfx are different in Extensions/Unicode than Data/Runtime/Unicode.

(still not home yet) but my guess it's the Admob file that's in the Android folder. thought this was like 3-4 Mb big... and your's is tiny..
Delete those 4 (or copy them and then delete)
then run the update 287.2 and try again. (you might see a big difference in the file size too then.
