    The correct way to write a random timer

    Hello fellow clickers,

    Could any of you good gentlemen or ladies be so kind to show the correct syntax on how to write or set a random timer condition in the events editor please? I was trying to figure out the proper equation but the logic seems to have slipped my mind for the moment. Any examples would also be much appreciated too! Many thanks in advance for any help you may have to offer!

    Alt value timer of Active = 0
    -->set alt value timer of Active to Random(whatever) or (Rrandom(min, max) if you want it to be random within a given range)
    -->do your random action

    Always
    -->set Alt value timer of Active to Max(Alt value timer("Active") - 1, 0)
