    Object confusion: shortcut/bad?

    1) I have a few objects on a very large frame that show a shortcut arrow in the Event Editor. These objects appear only in this frame, why would they have the arrow? Everything functions normal with them and I think they were all clones.

    2) Except for one, it was a clone that was being tracked in an event but had no code involved with at all. Another clone of the same obect took its place and had all the new code. All I had to do to remove the shortcut without deleting its "event" was to "replace object" the object with the one in use and it vanished. Are clones liable to be labelled with this blue arrow somehow?

Thanks for any help! I've seen the blue arrow when pasting code from an object into a new frame without the object present, but haven't read about it anywhere!

When objects have that arrow it means that they are used in the code somewhere but the object itself doesnt exist in the frame.

Maybe you copied the code to a new frame and missed the objects?

Yeah, that was it! Makes a lot of sense now.

What do objects with a small B on them mean? Or what if the object is replaced by a red bug. Ive seen them before... red bug happened to half my objects after going from Animation Editor to Run Frame back to back to back.

I assume they are bad objects. I managed to replace them all but they stay in the library. Good enough for me!

haha no, when they have a B on them it means they have Behavior code in them. in the frame editor click on it and in one of the settings tabs you will find Behaviors. Which is code inside the object. This can be good but can also clash with the regular code.
