Creates a folder. How can I do it?

I am using the Web View Object and I can save a file without problems in the path "/ DCIM /"

What I do is to create a folder inside / DCIM / and my files are saved in this new folder you have created.

If I specify a folder that already exists on the device, the file is saved correctly, but if I put the folder you want to create and nothing works.

How I can create a new folder?

    Upgrade.

I used the FILE object and I created the folder in DCIM.
I could save some images in from my apk.

But the images folder does not appear in the Gallery apk phone.
If I change the name of my folder using a filemanager, my folder automatically appears within GALLERY.

I gather you have to do some other step after creating the folder to indicate that it is indexed by the Gallery apk.

    Does anyone know anything?
