    Sounds play when phone in silent

    A game I made last year; Fluffee 2 the rescue, is now not working the way it used to in the newest build. My client tells me on an older xcode build I sent him that sounds do not play in silent. In all the newer builds I send him in Xcode, the game plays sounds regardless if the phone is in silent mode or not.

    He wants the game to not play sounds if the phone is in silent. Does anyone know anything about this? I am completely lost if there is a way to make it behave like it used to

    Just tested so it only happens in the latest beta version. Build 286.6 works fine.

    this is corrected in the next version that have to be release this week, this error was due to the audiosession (in version 287.3) was set to Playback and seems that this one does not respond to the mute audio hardware or software OS button, (the same effect when you receive a call) this was corrected and tested so should be ok and running in next version.

    also next version will be on sale a new extension that will allow you to keep external sound when you are running your games or developments. will be called iOSPlus.
