Restore files deleted with MMF?

I've noticed MMF extensions which delete items (Folder/File object) don't send the files to the recycling bin. How can I track these files down to restore them? This also happens if other extensions get weird and delete/rewrite/etc.

Any help is appreciated.

Unless you want to try a specialised software that can recover files/folders, no. You need to be very careful using some of the extensions/actions which modify files/folders.

Trust me, I have written multiple custom installers where I have to develop on my PC but test on a blank laptop (just in case). I once learned a costly mistake to not test on your own PC, no matter how confident you are. All it takes is one wrong path to be specified and you're in a whole heap of crap.

If it's software level erasure, not a physically wrecked hard drive, you can get software to recover the deleted file, but that is a 3rd party utility and not available through Fusion.

Recuva is one I have used off and on, although different softwares recover different files for whatever reason.
