Your forums are broken!

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • When you edit a post now - there's no text. When you preview a post - the text is also cleared.

Your forums have been timing out / going down yesterday and today - the navigation broke i.e. I got a technical error if I tried to go to a different sub-forum, then was fixed, then was broken again today...

Edit: Okay, the editing is working on this thread - I posted a link in the one it wasn't working on, and an attachment - so either of those 2 actions are breaking the editing.

  • There are some issues with the forum system and certain browsers but these won't be fixed as we're moving to a new system. Yesterday our security certificates expired early by 12 hours which led to some security errors but otherwise all services were working correctly - sometimes these issues happen due to either your own ISP or the routes from your ISP to our systems in the US, par for the course with globally accessed internet sites from time to time.

  • The technical issues - were limited to end of October - when I posted that, I've not experienced them recently.

The other issues come and go - often with posting links or posting text from other software, where I then can't edit the post - it's the posting of the link (OneDrive) or text that I think causes the issue.

Your forums are down for me most days at about 13h00 GMT 2+ give or take 30 minutes- but there might be a 101 reasons for that.

I thought they were hosted in Europe...

In general, they work great. Better than most forums I use.

  • Thanks, I'm glad they're working mostly well and I'm sure you'll be delighted with the new system, it's much more performant and modern. The slight delay each might be whilst databases are backed uo, as this forum contains approaching 2 decades of posts at this point it can be a bit slow to process. They're hosted in New Jersey in the US actually :)

Hopefully it will pass the Covid test lol
