Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!
Thank you, but I seem to be getting a graphical glitch upon overlapping magnets where the text will merge into the other. It's possible to make an event that always restores the text from the original string, but then the layering gets all out of whack. Is there an easy way to fix this issue? Please use the attached .mfa to see what I mean. Cheers.
So I've got this game I'm working on with text you can drag and drop Many of the ~50 words have multiple strings that get randomly picked at the start of the game The only problem is that the hitbox of the text expands way beyond the actual text, which makes moving the different words painful. My question is how can I convert the strings to active objects once they are loaded in the game? Alternatively, how can I get it so the text hitbox is reduced to only the shrunken text box?
A user on Discord said to "Use Active System Box instead, [as] you can resize it". They also said, "If you need to resize it to the text size, you would probably need Calculate Text Rect object as well". Is this the best method? If so, I need additional help. hi I have a quick question There's this webpage: Please login to see this link. And I want to make a simple program that notifies me when a certain map is next up. What would be the easiest way to make it happen?
Hmm, weird... not sure why, but I've checked Steam today, and it's now saying it's installed. P.S. Thanks for the invite. I feel like a stonecutter now.
So, I've got the humble bundle ($15 for everything is a deal I couldn't pass up), and it seems that I can't install the eporter modules, even after entering all of the serials into Steam successfully. What do I need to do to install them?
Also, it seems I can't register any of my producs on this forum (via community passport), and I was just wondering why I couldn't enter any Steam info into the apopropritate field. Finally, is Click Converse down?
I made a memory match based mini-game as part of an overall drinking game. lol Not sure if it's like what you need, but you could always modify the code to your requirements.
Here's an exe: Please login to see this link. If it's kind of like what you want, I'll hook you up with the source code.
Hey guys, working on a game at the moment which is very promising. Its current resolution is the stable 640x480. It can be resized for compatibility, however. Does anyone here have experience with porting to Facebook and can anyone explain to me how best to get payment. (Is it automatic?) Also, how to set up so players can buy extra chances/lives etc? I hear that Mochi Media has dissolved, and no longer in business; so can anyone else make recommendations for reputable games sites to submit flash games to that pay well and are easy to deal with?
I was wondering, what is the simplest way to view all the global values that are utilised in the events editor. Going to global events doesn't seem to offer a clear solution, since global events, even if they have to do with altering global values are only in the level's events editor of the frames you choose to put them in. As you can imagine, keeping tabs of dozens of global values and what significance they hold can get tricky quickly!
Alright, that's nice and all, but a really cheesy way to clear stuff out. Here's a much better method:

Patrice's method may seem convoluted, but it works. Yours on the other-hand allows the user to mistype or do an extra key press and still get the trick to work, Patrice's method works perfectly.
Hey! Basically, I wanted to use the famous Konami Code (Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A) as a secret password on the menu of my game so you can start the game with more lives than normal. Can anyone help me out? Naturally, you'll be listed in the credits!
