Python Lacewing Server with Fusion

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • To preface, I know nothing about Python.

I've heard that a Fusion-Based Lacewing Server can only handle as many messages as there are loops per second (Which should be around 50-60) and that using a Python based server, which can apparently handle thousands, is a much better solution.

Does anyone know how to go about using a Python based server to handle online play in Fusion?

Not true, if you let a Fusion "setup" render (loop) in 1000 fps and ping either server or client. It clearly shows a latency of less than 3 ms. If both client and server was operating in 60 fps the latency would be aprox 17 ms.
